Water Production • NAIVAWASCO Water Sources

Naivasha Water and Sanitation Company Ltd gets its raw water from twenty five (25) boreholes which are located in fourteen (14) production sites. From the abstraction sites, water is pumped to a number of reservoirs and then gravitated to the consumers through a distribution network.

NAIVAWASCO primary mandate is provision of clean water and sanitation services to the residents of Naivasha sub-county and its environs.

Water Connection • How to secure a new connection

Naivasha Water has a commitment to connect new water applicants to our water supply system within 4 days upon application with supportive documents i.e. Copies of:

1. Copies
  • National ID
  • KRA Pin
  • Title Deed / Sale Agreement / Allotment Letter
2. Connection fee.
Billing • How billing is done

Billing starts when meter readings are taken by our meter readers. Meter reading occurs within specific time frames for different regions:

  • Eastern Region (Kayole, Kinamba, Karate, Nyojoro, and Kinungi): 1st to 6th of each month
  • Southern Region (Mai Mahiu, Longonot, Kamere, Ngondi, and Hellsgate): 7th to 13th of each month
  • Central Region (CBD, CCCR, Kabati, Site & Service, Kihoto, Lakeview): 16th to 25th of each month
During this period our meter readers require free access to our customer’s premise.

Once the bills are calculated, the bill will be delivered via:

  • Short Message Service (SMS)
  • Printed Bills
  • E-mails
Water Supply •

Every day, the Company avails about seven thousand meter cubic (7000m3) to its customers. Most of them get approximately twenty four (24) hours of water per day.
